Want a copy of your FBI Identification Record? There are certain rules and regulations set up by the United States Department of Justice Order 556-73. You can obtain a copy of your own record. The federal criminal history record is processed by the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services and must include the reason for request (i.e., criminal history records, law enforcement certificate, international adoption, letter of good conduct, live or work in a country outside the U.S., etc..)
Can I request a Copy of Record or get proof that a record does not exist? Yes, but only you can request a copy of your own FBI Identification Record. No one can request access to another person’s FBI IR.
